Half day or full day?
A half day covers most of Mombasa Island itself. A full day leaves time for a trip out of town: Nyali is 10–25 min away, Bamburi is 25–40 min away and Mtwapa is 30–45 min away.

Local tip
For evening flights out of Moi International, leave the island earlier than the distance suggests: the causeway and Changamwe back up between about 16:30 and 19:00 on weekdays.
