Getting to Malindi
The transfer follows the North Coast road all the way through Kilifi and past Gede into Malindi. Travellers flying in to Malindi Airport are only a few minutes from town.
On the way you pass Mtwapa Creek Bridge, Kilifi Bridge and Gede.
Where visitors stay
Resorts and villas run along the beach from Casuarina and the marine park up through Silver Sands. Mayungu and Mambrui are quieter options to the south and north.

Things to do in Malindi
Malindi Marine National Park: Coral reefs off Casuarina, visited by glass-bottom boat.
Vasco da Gama Pillar: Coral-stone pillar topped with a Portuguese cross, left by da Gama’s expedition and later moved to the headland south of town.
Marafa (Hell’s Kitchen): Eroded sandstone canyon about an hour inland, best at sunset.
Local tip
Malindi has its own airport with domestic flights from Nairobi. We can meet you there as easily as at Mombasa.
