Getting to Kilifi
The drive runs north on the Malindi road through Mtwapa and Kikambala, then crosses the 420 m Kilifi Bridge over the creek. Mnarani is just before the bridge, Bofa just after.
On the way you pass Nyali Bridge, Mtwapa Creek Bridge and Kilifi Bridge.
Where visitors stay
Mnarani on the south bank of the creek has the larger hotels, Bofa Beach has villas and eco-lodges, and Takaungu to the south is a quiet village with a few guesthouses.

Things to do in Kilifi
Kilifi Creek: Sailing, paddle-boarding and fishing trips; Kilifi Boatyard is a well-known creek-side restaurant and fishing base.
Mnarani Ruins: Fifteenth-century mosque ruins and giant baobabs on the south side of the creek.
Bofa Beach: Long, quiet beach north of town with kitesurf schools.
