From Miritini station to Ukunda
Miritini station sits right by the start of the Dongo Kundu bypass, so the South Coast is one of the smoothest rides from the train: no city crossing and no ferry. From Moi International or Miritini the car takes the Dongo Kundu bypass, joins the South Coast highway at Kibundani and follows it about 11 km past Kombani to Ukunda. Ukunda is the first stop in the Diani area, so it is also the quickest.
