What the day looks like
Early pickup from your hotel, a drive south to Shimoni, then a day on a dhow with snorkelling at Kisite and, often, dolphins, followed by a seafood lunch on Wasini. Your driver waits and brings you back in the late afternoon.

Planning the day
Shimoni is about an hour to an hour and a half south of Diani and around two hours from Mombasa, so dhow trips start early. Bring swimwear, reef-safe sunscreen, a hat and cash for tips and extras.
Sea conditions decide how the day runs. Dhow operators can change the order of snorkelling and lunch, or postpone in rough weather. We keep the transfer flexible to match.
